Alternative Heating | | Geothermal Heating and cooling Geoexchange, or ground source heating, collects heat from the sun stored below ground through buried refrigerant, filled pipes and transfers it to an indoor compressor, which then transfers it to an air handler or either a hydronic or domestic hot water module It is about four times more efficient than traditional systems. In the winter, the ground loops can extract the energy needed to warm the home from the earth. Only one-third or less of the energy needed is purchased power, primarily used to run the compressor. In the summer, the process is reversed, with heat inside the house being transferred into the ground. We are an Earthlinked dealer- visit www.earthlinked.com for more information.
| "EarthLinked" is an affordable geoexchange system. It is environmentally clean and efficient and uses 70% renewable energy - transfers energy to and from the earth. This system reduces annual energy costs by 40% compared to other heating and cooling systems. It is more reliable and longer lasting that other heating and cooling systems due to it's simple innovative design. |
| | Solar Heating Pool Solar Heating - a seperate system where the water is taken from the pool, pumped up to solar collectors where the water is warmed and then pumped back into the pool. Solar Domestic Hot Water - works similarly to how a pool heater works, but for indoor use such as washing machines, dishwasher, showers, etc. |
